In FASHION she had played the role of a fashion model while in DOSTANA she is playing the role of an editor of the fashion magazine Verve who would be running a surgical knife through the fashion industry with her pen as a veritable toll. It would however be interesting to watch whether Priyanka's pen would approach the Indian fashion industry or the American fashion industry, as the location of DOSTANA is in Miami.

Pair of John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan had created a new frontier of the Indian cinema with DHOOM, and DOSTANA would be giving it an altogether a new dimension as the spark and chemistry between both of them in DHOOM even though they were at logger heads had made DHOOM a cult film.

It seems that the time for male bonding to claim its space on the silver screen has arrived, and could it start an era where a female actor is not needed thenceforth for a film?
